[Remote] Territory Sales Rep - Texas

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Certor Sports is a company focused on increasing sales and brand awareness in the sporting goods industry. They are seeking a Territory Sales Representative to build relationships with coaches, school administrators, and athletes while providing product expertise and support to local dealers. Responsibilities • Make daily in person visits and sales presentations to youth leagues and high school customers. • Provide coordinated support with local authorized Certor dealers through in person technical product presentations and school visits as needed. • Become a “go-to” product expert and impact that knowledge through educating customers on the advantages and benefits of our products. • Provide feedback reports to the Regional Sales Manager regarding customer contacts, territory progress, competitor positioning, and on-field product performance. • Assist the Regional Sales Manager in the planning, forecasting, and management of the sales territory. • Represent the company at open houses, parent nights, trade shows, and industry group meetings as needed. • Work with Regional Sales Manager to enact and evolve the Territory Sales Strategy to meet personal and company sales goals. Skills • Three years of sales or customer service experience in sporting goods industry or generally in Sales profession. • Communication, planning, organization, sales, and customer service skills. • Fundamental technical knowledge of Certor products and competitor products. • Microsoft Office/Excel spreadsheet/PC/Email basic functions. • Common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, quoting, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services. • Convert your competitiveness and passion for sports and equipment into an effective results driven sales plan and strategy. • Anticipate and understand customer needs and problem solve issues and obstacles to deliver profitable solutions. • Must be able to communicate effectively with both written and oral methods such as email, phone calls, presentations, trade shows, etc. • Make consistently good scheduling decisions about visiting customers throughout the territory making efficient use of time and resources while balancing the focus on direct sales and the support needs of the local authorized Certor dealer. • The first responsibility of this position will be to complete an internal training program. • Do you have a valid driver's license? • Experience in sports equipment management at NCAA or NFL level preferred. • Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of three years related experience.
