[Remote] USCIS Immigration Attorney (Junior Level)

They are looking for a Junior Level USCIS Immigration Attorney to manage a diverse USCIS caseload, conduct FOIA reviews, prepare clients for interviews, and ensure filings are accurate and timely. Responsibilities Assess relief eligibility and develop case strategies for USCIS matters Manage a caseload including family based petitions, U Visas, VAWA, TPS, N-400, I-90, and FOIA reviews Review and approve filings prior to submission Review 10–15 FOIAs weekly and prepare detailed assessments, including potential relief Review CAL DOJ and FBI FOIAs to determine the impact of criminal history on immigration relief Draft immigration declarations and supporting documents for motions to vacate Prepare clients for USCIS interviews Lead, guide, and mentor paralegals and legal assistants Ensure deadlines are met and cases move efficiently Collaborate with the team to maintain excellent case management and communication Skills Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (California preferred) 1–3 years of immigration law experience Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills Proficient with electronic case management systems Organized, detail oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast paced environment A dependable laptop or desktop (8GB RAM minimum, Core i5 or higher) paired with a stable 10 Mbps connection to ensure smooth performance FOIA review experience preferred Previous immigration experience as a legal assistant or paralegal strongly preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Uncapped paid time off Parental leave Roth IRA Company Overview At Moaddel Law Firm, we are more than attorneys; we are dedicated advocates for the Immigrant and Latino community in Los Angeles.
