[Remote] Women’s Health & Genetics Customer Service Support Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Labcorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative for their Women’s Health - Every Mom Pledge team. This role involves assisting patients and clients with health insurance coverage, cost and payment options, and answering billing questions over the phone in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Ability to work in a high call volume environment (averaging ~75 calls per day) Ability to research and communicate complex information in a clear/concise manner Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems/websites simultaneously Provide assistance to prospective clients and patients regarding any questions or inquiries related to insurance coverage and financial responsibilities Receive and process credit card payments over the phone adhering to PCI compliance protocol Document telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections and case notes Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations Assist with other duties as assigned Skills Ability to work in a high call volume environment (averaging ~75 calls per day) Ability to research and communicate complex information in a clear/concise manner Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems/websites simultaneously Provide assistance to prospective clients and patients regarding any questions or inquiries related to insurance coverage and financial responsibilities Receive and process credit card payments over the phone adhering to PCI compliance protocol Document telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections and case notes Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations Assist with other duties as assigned Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy Must be organized and detail-oriented Computer proficiency - MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience Associates degree with at least 1+ year prior relevant work experience OR High School diploma/GED equivalent with at least 3 +years of relevant work experience Professionally fluent and proficient in both English/Spanish desired 5 plus years of experience in the specialty testing/genetics customer service preferred Healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of professional medical billing and collection practices preferred Previous customer service experience handling high call volume preferred Medicare/Medicaid billing experience preferred Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes highly preferred Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) desired XIFIN experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Plan Company Overview Fortrea is a provider of comprehensive Phase I through IV clinical trial management, clinical pharmacology, patient access solutions.
