[Remote] Workday - Principal Consultant, Revenue (Grants, Endowments, Customer Accounts)

The Principal Consultant will optimize and streamline clients' Revenue, Endowment, Grants, and Project Billing processes on the Workday platform, collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions. Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial requirements and business objectives • Leverage your strong Workday Endowment skills to configure and customize the platform, ensuring seamless management of endowment funds and related processes • Analyze current endowment and revenue processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency • Lead the implementation of Workday modules for Endowment Management, Contracts, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Cash Management, ensuring they integrate smoothly into existing workflows • Collaborate with stakeholders from finance, legal, sales, and IT to gather business requirements with a focus on endowment and revenue needs, aligning them with Workday's capabilities • Train end-users on Workday Endowment functionalities and provide ongoing support to drive adoption and resolve any issues quickly • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Workday configurations, particularly focusing on endowment management and related integrations • Conduct system configurations and integrations to streamline financial processes • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of Workday Financials • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Financials applications • Stay current with Workday updates and best practices, providing thought leadership and guidance to clients Skills • Certified Workday Financials Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Workday Financials solutions • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Workday Financials (Implementer) Certified • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences, both internal and external • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively • Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment • Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration • Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap's physical office locations • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required • Experience in financial analysis and reporting is a plus • Strong expertise in Grants, Endowments, Customer Accounts.
