Crushvertise is seeking a dedicated video editor with specific YouTube Shorts experience to create engaging educational content for their skin health and wellness channel. The role involves editing multiple YouTube Shorts each week, ensuring they are optimized for viewer engagement and retention. Responsibilities • Edit 3–5 YouTube Shorts per week (30–60 sec each) • Turn talking-head or B-roll footage into fast-paced, punchy edits • Add captions, text overlays, music, cuts, transitions for high retention • Work from our content repository and collaborate with our creative team • Ensure each Short is optimized for YouTube’s unique viewer behavior Skills • Proven experience editing YouTube Shorts (not just Reels or TikTok) • Understanding of pacing, retention hooks, and visual rhythm for YT Shorts • Reliable, detail-oriented, and communicative • Strong grasp of English for editing captions/text • Familiar with common educational content styles on YouTube • Familiarity with Descript or similar tools for transcription/caption workflows • Experience editing content in the beauty/wellness niche • Comfortable working in Google Drive/ClickUp Company Overview • Crushvertise is an advertising agency that offers a full range of digital marketing and lead generation services.
