Job Summary: The Risk Management and Insurance Specialist promotes a safe and healthy work environment for our People by supporting the overall Risk Management program. Reporting to the Director Insurance and Risk Management, the incumbent is responsible for requesting and updating insurance certificates, invoicing, and billing reconciliation, issuing releases of liability, communication with stakeholders, including employees, managers, insurance carriers, medical staff, and legal partners. S/he is the first point of contact related to Risk Management questions from the various divisions and support center staff. Responsibilities Primary support for the Patient Safety Event (PSE) and Standard of Care (SOC) program. Create and manage distribution of reports, dashboards, and email alerts within the Origami RMIS system. Maintain and update the Risk Management intranet page. Monitor group inboxes and respond to requests. Qualifications and Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience At least 2 years’ professional office experience, ideally within a multi-unit retail or healthcare support organization. Related health care certification, a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to form effective working relationships across levels within the organization. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Compensation: The total compensation range for this position is between $55,000 and $60,000.
