Key Responsibilities: As the Online BSN Program Director, you will be the chief architect of the program's success. Your core duties will include: • Program Leadership & Strategy: Oversee all aspects of the online RN to BSN program, from strategic planning and fiscal management to curriculum development and continuous improvement. • Accreditation & Compliance: Ensure program compliance with all state and national accrediting bodies. Lead the preparation of reports and maintain an effective Program Effectiveness Plan. • Faculty & Instruction: Supervise and mentor online faculty in collaboration with the Online Assistant Deans of Faculty. Foster teaching excellence through observation, feedback, and support. • Student Success & Retention: Champion student achievement by advising students, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing targeted retention strategies to maintain an 80% student success rate. • Admissions & Outreach: Evaluate applicant transcripts, conduct admissions interviews, and engage in community outreach to build program awareness and develop key partnerships. • Advisory Board & Collaboration: Organize and lead the RN to BSN Advisory Board, and collaborate closely with campus departments and online leadership to ensure a seamless, student-centered experience. Who You Are (Qualifications & Experience): We are looking for a candidate who possesses: • A graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Nursing. • An active Registered Nurse license in good standing (Multistate Compact License preferred). • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a registered nurse. • At least 2 years of documented experience as a nursing instructor in a baccalaureate or higher program. • Proven experience teaching in an online or hybrid platform. • Preferred qualifications include nursing program administration experience and National Certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE). • Strong knowledge of curriculum design, program administration, and evaluation. • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Willingness to adjust your work schedule to the Arizona time zone.
