We are searching for an experienced SaaS sales person for Thrive Local Software and Managed Services Sales. Role Summary: The Thrive Local Marketing Consultant plays a key role in closing new business from high-quality inbound leads, thanks to our phenomenal Demand Generation team and also is an expert in outbound lead development. This consultative sales role requires strong communication, active listening, and the ability to present professional software demos and close a large volume of deals each month with a quick sales cycle. We’re looking for people who genuinely care about their leads, take the time to understand their needs, and provide strategic recommendations that are truly in their best interest. In This Role, You’ll Get To: • Represent Thrive to small and mid-market businesses, serving as the friendly face of the company. • Embody Thrive’s core values of Relationships and Results in all client interactions. • Manage inbound leads, guiding them through the entire sales process from initial contact, sales demo to the deal close stage. • Manage an outbound pipeline and spend significant time prospecting for new business • Use our Zoho CRM database to manage your individual sales pipeline effectively. • Build trust and confidence with a consultative sales approach that prioritizes client needs. • Find unique ways to make Thrive Local stand out from the competition. • Skillfully handle objections, using creative strategies to win the business. • Take detailed notes on project requirements and communicate clearly with the operations team. • Recognize when to seek help, leveraging subject matter experts instead of guessing at answers. • Show an aptitude for developing and closing complex sales opportunities within political or organizational landscapes. • Respond promptly and effectively to sensitive situations or complaints as they arise. • Know when to bring in executive involvement to align leadership on larger opportunities and strengthen client relationships. • This role offers potential for growth, with opportunities to advance into a higher-tier Marketing Consultant or management position. A Typical ‘Day in the Life’ Might Consist of: • 10% Preparing for Demo Calls: Research clients to understand their business and challenges while crafting questions to uncover their marketing needs. • 25% Conducting Demo Calls: Build rapport with leads, identifying their challenges, and exploring tailored marketing solutions. • 10% Preparing for Sales Meetings: Create customized strategies and impactful presentations to meet client goals. • 15% Communicating with Leads: Follow up via email, text, or phone to answer questions and guide prospects through the decision process. • 10% Participating in Internal Meetings: Align with team members on lead solutions and ensuring new clients are set up for success. • 10% Researching and Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and tools to provide innovative solutions. • 5% Internal Communication: Share updates and ensure seamless handoffs to internal teams for smooth onboarding. • 15% Prospecting and Outbound Activities: Prospect for good outbound targets using social media and other prospecting tools.
