Sales Representative – Hydro / Agriculture / Cultivation Supply
Sales Representative – Hydro / Agriculture / Cultivation Supply Company: Valley of Fire Location: Remote / Flexible Industry: Hydroponics, Agriculture, Cultivation Valley of Fire is a specialty distribution company working with high-quality brands in the hydro, ag, and cultivation space. We’re looking for experienced salespeople who actually know this industry — not people trying to learn it for the first time. If you’ve sold grow equipment, inputs, or supplies into stores, cultivations, nurseries, or commercial operations, this will feel familiar. If you haven’t, this probably won’t be your thing. What This Role Is You’ll be responsible for opening and growing wholesale and commercial accounts. That means: • Talking to buyers • Making cold calls when needed • Following up properly • Building relationships that reorder This is not a marketing role. This is not customer service. This is real sales. Who Does Well Here People who succeed in this role usually: • Have sold in hydro, ag, or cultivation before • Already know buyers or decision-makers • Are comfortable picking up the phone • Don’t need daily supervision to get work done • Care more about results than titles If you’ve ever carried a territory, a product line, or a book of accounts, you’ll understand how this works quickly. Compensation Compensation is performance-based and tied directly to sales. There is no artificial ceiling on earnings. Strong accounts lead to long-term value. This role rewards people who can actually sell. Experienced reps should make more than our CEO. What We Bring • A solid catalog of high-quality products • Brands buyers already respect • Competitive wholesale pricing • Support on quotes, bundles, and deal structure • A team that answers the phone and helps close We don’t micromanage. We also don’t babysit. Important Context This role offers flexibility and autonomy, but it requires discipline. Some people like that. Some people don’t. We’re fine with either — we just need the right ones. How to Apply If this sounds like your lane, apply with a short explanation of your sales background and the types of accounts you’ve worked with. If you’ve done this kind of work before, you’ll know what to say.
