Salesforce Admin / Developer (Production support – CPQ) Remote (PST preferred) Job Description: With strong development and administration skills including Salesforce CPQ. Lead a team supporting Salesforce production systems for optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolutions. Need expertise with production environments, deep debugging skills, and hands-on capability in admin activities. Candidate should be able to communicate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and own incident management and root-cause analysis. Responsibilities: • Handson experience with Admin activities on Sales cloud, Service cloud, Salesforce CPQ • Preferably to have experience working on and supporting managed packages like Distribution Engine, DocuSign, Conga, LSN, ZoomInfo, Qualtrics, Guidecx, 6Sense • Experience in supporting integrations between Salesforce, other third party applications and home-grown system • Lead and mentor the production support team for Salesforce, acting as point of contact for major incidents, escalations and CPQ-related production issues. • Perform root-cause analysis on operational issues; use your development skills to debug and resolve complex problems • Take ownership of incidents, problem, and change management processes for Salesforce production environments • Proactively monitor system performance, anticipate and address potential risks, and suggest preventive measures • Collaborate closely with development, QA, admin, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery and support • Manage and execute data updates, data loads, and bulk operations in the Salesforce Production Org, ensuring data integrity and compliance • Drive improvements to operational processes, documentation, and runbooks • Assertively communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels, providing timely updates on issue status and action plans • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, applying relevant updates to production environments • Ensure compliance with SLAs, security standards, and audit requirements • Participate in on-call rotations and provide expert guidance during critical incidents Requirements: • Proven track record of managing and supporting large, complex Salesforce production environments • Strong hands-on development skills (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL, etc.) with ability to effectively debug code and configurations • Excellent Salesforce admin experience, including data updates, user management, permission sets, etc. • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform, integrations, and process automation tools • Experience with root-cause analysis, incident resolution, and post-mortem documentation • Superior communication skills; able to proactively and assertively engage with teams and leadership • Experience in leading small to medium support teams and driving process improvement • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer, CPQ) preferred Apply tot his job
