Job description Repair Technician - Computer & Cell Phone UBREAKIFIX by Asurion, Samsung and Google's main certified repair provider, is growing fast to additional locations in the Austin Metro area, and we are looking for repair technicians! There’s a lot of technical expertise that makes someone a quality repair technician, and any previous experience repairing phones and computers is a bonus. Compensation is as follows: • In Store Technician: $16 to $24 following initial training and proven repair certification (4- weeks process) - this includes achievable commissions and depends on repair output and performance • Remote Technician: Begin at $16/hour. Quickly transition (within weeks of training) to a commission structure ($17-$22 per repair), with an expected hourly earning potential of $23-$26 based on consistent performance. • The commissions are for add-ons that can be easily suggested to the customer, including screen protectors, home protection plans, and for the achievement of repair and sales targets UBREAKIFIX by Asurion is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V. What our Technicians do: – Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets, Macs, and PCs either in-store or at customer's homes in a company provided vehicle – Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner – Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards – Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment – Repair devices in our customer's homes with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor – Keep track of all devices and inventory – Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair – Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store Basic Qualifications: - Outstanding customer service skills - High integrity, honesty, and loyalty - Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills - Exceptional organizational skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Work well in a team - Ability to work flexible hours and locations, including weekends and holidays - High school diploma or GED - Valid driver's license Bonus Qualifications: - A+ Certification - Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) - Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles - Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics - Previous experience working at retail electronics store - Previous customer service experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
