We are looking for a School & Youth Programs Intern to join our team this summer! The School & Youth Programs Intern will work directly with the Senior Director of Youth Programs to increase awareness and registration for the NYC Teenspace program. They are responsible for co-facilitating in-person and virtual presentations to students, teens, and school staff, and help plan and hold focus groups and info sessions on various mental health topics. Additionally, they assist with operations, including outreach, mailing lists, and scheduling across teams. The Intern will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to drive marketing efforts across social media channels and the network of schools. Responsibilities • Work directly with the Senior Director of Youth Programs to help with NYC Teenspace utilization. • Co-facilitate in-person and virtual presentations to students/teens and school staff. • Help plan and hold focus groups and info sessions on various mental health topics. • Assist with operations, including outreach, mailing lists, and scheduling across teams. • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to drive marketing efforts across social media channels and the network of schools. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Rising juniors and seniors in undergraduate degree, or enrolled in a graduate program. • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. • Commitment to working 20 hours per week during the summer. • Detail-oriented with a passion for being in the details. • Strong communicator (verbal & written) with the ability to listen, articulate positions, advocate, and execute ideas. • Creative thinker who loves solving problems and works well in a team setting.
