Contract | Part-Time | Remote | Long-Term Collaborative Partnership Overview I'm looking for an experienced Search Engine Optimization & AI-SEO Specialist to join me on a contract, part-time basis as a true partner—not just a freelancer. This is about building something together, not a one-off gig. You'll work directly with me as a strategic partner, delivering SEO for active clients and, just as importantly, building our SEO offerings, processes, and client base from the ground up. If you want to help shape how SEO is sold, delivered, and scaled, and do it collaboratively, this is the opportunity. What You'll Do Client SEO Strategy & Execution (Collaborative) • Partner on planning and executing SEO strategies for small to mid-sized businesses (B2B, local, and service-based) • Collaborate on keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits. • Jointly refine on-site optimization efforts, including content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure. • Review rankings, traffic, conversions, and engagement metrics together • Co-present SEO insights in a clear, client-friendly way AI-First & Modern Search Optimization • Collaborate on optimizing content for AI-assisted search and evolving SERP features. • Develop AI-first content strategies together (FAQs, structured content, topical authority) • Use AI tools collaboratively to improve research, content planning, and optimization workflows. • Stay aligned on changes in Google Search, AI Overviews, and shifting search behavior. Creative SEO Offer & Solution Development • Co-develop new ways to offer SEO beyond traditional monthly retainers • Collaborate on flexible, scalable SEO approaches for clients with limited budgets. • Help shape productized, phased, or project-based SEO solutions. • Work with clients collaboratively to prioritize high-impact SEO work within real-world constraints. Marketing Strategy & Growth Support • Collaborate on marketing strategies to attract new SEO clients. • Support remarketing and expansion strategies for existing clients • Partner on positioning SEO and AI-SEO services within broader marketing initiatives • Contribute ideas that support lead generation, client retention, and long-term growth. Collaboration, Growth & Client Relationships • Work directly with clients in a relationship-driven, collaborative manner. • Act as an ongoing strategic partner in shaping SEO and AI-SEO service offerings. • Collaborate on building scalable SEO processes and internal documentation. • Share ownership in ideas that grow SEO revenue and long-term client success. Required Experience & Skills • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or freelance preferred) • Strong understanding of: • On-page, technical, and local SEO • Keyword research and search intent mapping • Google Search Console and Google Analytics • Experience using AI tools to support SEO strategy and execution • Strong people skills with a collaborative, client-facing mindset • Ability to explain SEO clearly without jargon • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely as a partner Compensation Structure • Contract-based, long-term collaboration • Open to shared-revenue / profit-participation models on SEO clients. • Compensation aligned with contribution, collaboration, and ongoing client success • This is designed for someone who wants to build value with me over time, not just do transactional work.
