Key Responsibilities As a Part-Time Seasonal Merchandise Associate, you will be responsible for: • Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. • Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. • Cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support the needs of the business. • Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customers according to established operating procedures. • Promoting credit and loyalty programs. • Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards. • Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards. • Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day. • Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store. • Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback. • Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures. • Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs. • Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment. • Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs. • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Capability to multi-task. • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations. • Capability of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors. • Retail customer experience preferred.
