Senior Business Broker/M&A Advisor - US and Canada

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Broker / M&A Advisor to guide business owners through the sale and acquisition of privately held companies in the US and Canada. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong financial analysis skills with relationship-driven advisory work. As a Business Broker, you help owners and buyers through one of the most significant decisions of their lives, selling or buying a privately held business. You lead the entire process by assisting owners in defining their goals, preparing for the marketing, positioning their business, qualifying buyers, managing diligence, and negotiating deals that actually close. Your job is to protect value, reduce risk, and bring clarity to what can be a stressful and emotional transition. This role is about more than transactions. It is about people. You help founders turn years of hard work into financial freedom or a new chapter, and you help buyers step confidently into ownership. With baby boomers selling in large numbers and Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) growing quickly, the need for strong advisors has never been greater. You sit at the center of strategy, finance, and relationships, helping people reach freedom, legacy, and opportunity through deals done right. You will manage transactions end-to-end, from initial valuation and preparation through buyer sourcing, negotiation, and closing, while acting as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs navigating one of the most important decisions of their careers. This is a fully remote position with no office or geographic limitations. We are looking for brokers who are authorized to work in either the US or Canada. Responsibilities/What You'll Do • Advise business owners on exit readiness, valuation expectations, and transaction strategy • Analyze financial statements, including P&Ls and balance sheets, utilizing add-backs to normalized earnings • Develop valuation ranges using accepted methodologies (cash flow multiples, market comps) • Prepare confidential business overviews and marketing materials • Proactively source and qualify buyers through outreach, networking, and inbound leads • Manage buyer screening, NDAs, and information flow while maintaining strict confidentiality • Facilitate negotiations, offers, letters of intent, and deal structure discussions • Coordinate due diligence processes with buyers, sellers, and professional advisors • Manage transactions through closing while maintaining momentum and deal discipline Experience/Who You Are • A confident communicator who can build trust quickly with business owners • Financially fluent and comfortable explaining numbers to non-financial clients • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple deals simultaneously • Self-directed and motivated in a performance-based environment • Ethical, discreet, and professional in high-stakes situations • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting • Hungry for success, backed by a strong work ethic and desire to win Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Application Question(s): • Are you authorized to work in Canada?
