This role offers the opportunity to lead cloud architecture initiatives for a dynamic, multi-tenant SaaS environment, driving operational efficiency, security, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, software architects, security, and operations to define cloud strategies, implement best practices, and deliver innovative solutions. The position requires hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as a strong understanding of security, compliance, and infrastructure automation. You will play a key role in shaping cloud reference architectures, establishing standardized practices, and mentoring technical teams. This remote role empowers you to influence strategic decisions, optimize systems, and ensure secure, high-performance cloud services that support impactful healthcare solutions globally. Accountabilities · Develop, implement, and manage a multi-tenant cloud strategy for SaaS and managed services offerings. · Design cloud reference architectures for various deployment topologies and document guiding principles. · Assess, implement, automate, and document security solutions to meet compliance and regulatory requirements. · Collaborate with security teams to define and enforce cloud, container, and application security standards. · Monitor cloud cost and utilization, developing attribution and optimization processes. · Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend best-of-breed solutions. · Generate detailed technical documentation including conceptual, logical, and physical designs, as-built diagrams, and transition materials. · Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding projects from conception to successful implementation. · Present cloud strategy, architecture, and roadmap considerations to executive and C-level stakeholders. · Advocate for cloud best practices and drive multi-cloud thought leadership within the organization. · Collaborate with operations teams to remove technical roadblocks and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements · 7+ years of experience as a Cloud or Solutions Architect with a focus on securing cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or a related IT field. · Minimum 5 years’ experience identifying security risks and developing mitigation plans; deep understanding of cloud security threats. · Extensive experience with hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and interconnect/colocation centers. · Strong knowledge of application architecture and cloud migration/refactoring strategies. · Ability to communicate complex technical architectures to both C-level executives and technical teams. · Formal cloud certification (e.g., Azure Security Certification) and deep knowledge of cloud best practices. · Experience securing operating systems, firewalls, networks, systems, databases, and applications. · Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, ISO, HITRUST, and their impact on architecture. · Expertise in networking, security, databases, containers, serverless, and cloud infrastructure services. · Knowledge of identity protocols, threat modeling, and AI/ML pipeline deployment on cloud platforms. · Strong problem-solving, mentoring, and innovation skills; customer-first mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities. · Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
