About the Role Elevation HR is seeking a Senior Cloud & Dev Ops Architect (GCP) to support a large, regulated enterprise organization operating a mission‑critical data marketplace and analytics platform. This role blends hands‑on Dev Ops engineering with solution architecture ownership and is designed for a senior‑level consultant who can design, build, deploy, and operate cloud‑native platforms with minimal ramp‑up. It is a delivery‑first role, not advisory, presales, or theoretical architecture. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high‑level and detailed architecture diagrams for backend services and GCP infrastructure. • Define integration specifications for ML workflows, data pipelines, and third‑party systems. • Conduct architecture reviews focused on scalability, security, reliability, and performance. • Partner with Product, Data, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across backend, frontend, and ML components. • Deliver Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) templates for GCP resource provisioning (Terraform preferred). • Establish and monitor observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerting). • Support production deployments and platform stability. • Provide monthly uptime, availability, and reliability reporting. What We’re Looking For • 8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Architecture within enterprise environments. • Strong, hands‑on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including architecture, deployment, and operational support. • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and ML components. • Demonstrated expertise delivering IaC using Terraform or equivalent tooling in production. • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics systems, or ML workflows in regulated or high‑availability environments. • Solid understanding of cloud security, scalability, reliability, and performance best practices. • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders. • Ability to operate independently with minimal ramp‑up and minimal oversight. Why This Role • Support a mission‑critical enterprise data platform. • High‑visibility role with real production ownership. • Long‑term platform work with stability through 2026. • Opportunity to operate at enterprise scale in a regulated environment. • Immediate impact — minimal ramp‑up, high trust engagement. Important Notes • 1099 and Corp‑to‑Corp (C2C) candidates accepted. • Hourly rate capped at $130/hr (all‑in). • Full‑time capacity required. • Candidates must be able to start by January 5, 2026. • Fast interview and onboarding process due to urgency.
