About the position Position Overview: The Senior Compliance Governance Director of Enterprise Compliance plays a critical leadership role within the Compliance Department. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring comprehensive cataloguing and documentation of compliance oversight programs that address non-product specific compliance risks across the organization. The Director will systematically identify, organize, and maintain corporate policies and standards, ensuring alignment with enterprise compliance objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of building relationships and consensus with key stakeholders across an enterprise including executive level management. The candidate should be a curious, initiative-taker who independently researches best in class solutions through education, industry networking, and regulatory research, and be comfortable educating internal and external partners on program benefits, including articulating regulatory expectations. This role reports to the Head of Enterprise Compliance and Governance and requires team collaboration, creative solution-based thinking, team management, and energy about building innovative programs to enhance global risk management activities, with an emphasis on the accurate documentation and cataloguing of corporate policies and standards. Responsibilities • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of effective enterprise compliance oversight programs. • Systematically identify, organize, and maintain company-wide policies and standards within the scope of enterprise compliance. • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to provide expert guidance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Develop, revise, and document compliance program policies and procedures, introducing new compliance standards as needed. • Identify and implement corrective action plans to resolve complex compliance issues. • Evaluate and communicate the operational efficiency and effectiveness of compliance programs, establishing measurable standards and leveraging both internal and external resources. • Serve as a subject matter expert and key resource for compliance programs and regulatory matters impacting business operations. • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Extensive experience in compliance governance, preferably in a large enterprise or financial services organization. • Proven ability to build relationships and consensus with key stakeholders, including executive management. • Demonstrated initiative and curiosity, with a track record of independently researching best-in-class solutions through education, industry networking, and regulatory research. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate internal and external partners on program benefits and regulatory expectations. • Experience in team management and collaboration, with creative, solution-oriented thinking. • Energy and enthusiasm for building innovative programs that enhance global risk management activities. • Attention to detail in documentation and cataloguing of policies and standards. • Strong communication and influence skills across all levels of management Apply tot his job
