Key Responsibilities As a Senior Customer Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for applying your system-level expertise to resolve complex customer issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing advanced technical support to customers and partners via phone, email, and other communication channels Applying Linux/Unix triage skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems Utilizing networking triage skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to networking and networked storage technologies Developing and implementing scripting solutions to automate tasks and improve efficiency Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our support services Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Excellent external customer support skills, with a strong focus on customer-facing oral and written communications, managing hot customers, and troubleshooting complex system problems Strong Linux/Unix triage skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues Networking triage skills, with knowledge of networking and networked storage technologies Scripting skills, with the ability to develop and implement automated solutions Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology, or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are highly desirable: Experience with backup applications, such as Backup Exec, Commvault, IBM Spectrum Protect, NetBackup, Oracle RMAN, or Veeam Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies and platforms Experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills, including: Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, providing opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement.
