We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team remotely, who will play a critical role in driving business decisions with data-driven insights. About the Role As a Senior Data Analyst on our Customer Experience team, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that inform our customer experience strategies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Data Expertise : Serve as a data expert on key customer experience initiatives, combining business acumen with analytical expertise to drive sound recommendations. Data Exploration : Continuously discover and explore data to identify insights, trends, and patterns that inform business decisions. Data Storytelling : Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries, create front-end dashboards in tools like Tableau, and craft compelling stories to communicate insights to stakeholders. Reporting and Analytics : Establish reporting standards and best practices, architect and implement a reporting framework, and oversee data mining efforts. Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and end-users to determine requirements, develop solutions, and drive business outcomes. Data Management : Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data, and ensure data quality through cleansing and validation. Ad Hoc Analytics : Respond to ad hoc analytics requests, providing timely and accurate insights to stakeholders. CX Data Platform : Contribute to the design and development of our new CX data platform, creating base queries and documentation to support business teams. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A bachelor's degree in a field related to data analysis, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics. A minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in working with complex data sets and developing data-driven insights. Proficiency in SQL, with experience developing advanced queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, and a strong understanding of data storytelling principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to issue resolution. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 1-2 years of experience in data management, process analysis, and improvement. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of usability best practices and user design principles. Experience with varied database applications and analytical tools.
