About the Role As a Senior Data Scientist, Analytics at blithequark, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's responsible for driving measurement, strategy, and decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to uncover insights, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our commercial strategies, optimizing operations, and improving customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Utilize quantitative analysis and data visualization to drive business decisions and identify areas for improvement Design and implement full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools Mentor junior analysts on advanced techniques and methodologies, and provide guidance on complex data analysis projects Develop recommendations and validate findings using statistical techniques and hypothesis testing Provide insights to business and product leaders on market dynamics, customer behavior, and long-term trends Identify and quantify levers to drive key metrics and make recommendations for improvement Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, report, validate, and monitor logging and data quality Develop and maintain leader-facing dashboards to track progress against key objectives Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field 4+ years of experience in data analysis, consulting, or a related role Experience working with pipeline optimization, customer segmentation, cohort analysis, time series analysis, regression models, and other advanced statistical techniques Proficiency in SQL queries, ETL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis using tools like Matlab, R, SAS, or Python Experience with analytics and visualization tools like Chartio, Looker, or Tableau The ability to take ambiguous problems and break them down into structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported solutions Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities A strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools like AWS or Google Cloud A track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights and recommendations What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to supporting our employees' happiness, resilience, and overall well-being.
