As a key member of this team, you'll be working closely with cross-functional partners to develop and implement strategies that protect our users and promote a positive online experience. **Key Responsibilities** As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse team, which focuses on identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting to compromise our platform. Your key responsibilities will include: * Leading the Adversarial Abuse team in recognizing and eliminating threats, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse * Collaborating with the Business Investigation team to produce insights, estimate uncaught badnesses, and distribute Transparency Reports for countries around the world * Understanding, anticipating, and insightfully mitigating risks from new, scaling industry patterns (e.g., generative AI) * Working with the Strategy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior * Delivering high-quality and productive operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24x7 * Attracting, retaining, developing, and fostering exceptional talent * Managing accelerations with quick turnaround times, providing data-driven insights, and implementing solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and strategies that effectively prevent adversarial abuse **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) * Four years of experience in a related field, or equivalent common sense experience * Two years of experience working with risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical models * Two years of experience working with design teams that build data infrastructure and ML models * Two years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks as accelerations require **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications will be highly valued: * Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., research, design, data science) * Two years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection * Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities * Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab * Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners * Outstanding business judgment, critical, and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action in a rapidly changing industry **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive insights * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business outcomes and strategy **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills and career.
