About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Global Head - Adversarial Abuse and Analytics to lead our Trust and Safety initiatives. As a key member of the Trust and Security team, you will be responsible for managing the Adversarial Abuse team and the Business Analytics team, driving strategic decisions with data-driven insights. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and mitigating emerging threats, developing policies, and implementing effective solutions to ensure a safe and secure online environment for our users. Key Responsibilities Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in detecting and removing malicious actors, and the Business Analytics team in generating insights and measuring abuse trends. Anticipate and mitigate risks from emerging industry trends, such as generative AI, and develop strategies to stay ahead of adversaries. Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior. Deliver effective and efficient operational execution in a global team working 24x7, and engage, retain, manage, and develop top talent. Manage escalations with rapid turnaround times, provide data-driven insights, and implement policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics). At least 4 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in risk management, fraud fighting, and data analysis. 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that build data infrastructure and ML models. 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard hours as escalations require. Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate education in a connected field (e.g., research, engineering, data science). 2 years of experience in analyzing large datasets and anomaly detection. Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities. Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab and data analysis tools. Exceptional influencing and leadership relational skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners. Excellent business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage ambiguity. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to drive business outcomes.
