Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights to lead our world-class organization in defining and stewarding industry, customer, and consumer insights that accelerate revenue and volume growth. This role will be instrumental in driving our 2035 vision, grounded in consumer insights, and providing thought leadership, strategic storytelling, and unlocking new opportunities through insights innovations, best practices, and partnerships. Key Responsibilities Lead a high-performing team of seasoned insights directors to develop and deploy best-in-class insights that shape business direction and drive growth. Provide people leadership, vision, coaching, development, and guidance to ensure the success of the team and key stakeholders. Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, business planning, and industry leadership, to define top opportunities and develop a robust analytics and testing agenda. Navigate and survey the competitive environment to identify marketplace opportunities and risks, leveraging external intelligence to inform business planning and enhance customer conversations. Collaborate across the blithequark global network to optimize resource utilization, share knowledge, extract applicable learning, and expand insights capabilities. Set strategic guidance on critical insights and storytelling required to win business renewals and drive growth for the blithequark system. Identify and deploy latest technologies, partnerships, and innovative approaches to ensure fast-paced and agile insights development. Key Focus Areas Strategic Thinking and Strategy Development The successful candidate will define and set the agenda for critical insights and marketplace intelligence needs, partner in the development of the annual business plan, and drive strategy and opportunities to win in the marketplace. They will also drive awareness of consumer and marketplace trends to enable thought leadership against the blithequark Value Bundle. Relationship Management This role will act as a network partner, ensuring connectivity with other insights organizations, and leading the way for knowledge sharing and application of growth-driving intelligence for blithequark customer partners. The Senior Director II will build strong team-oriented relationships with other key internal business units and global partners, resulting in greater opportunities for the business. People Leadership & Development The ideal candidate will recruit and retain a high-performance team, serving as an advocate for future career opportunities and personal growth/development. They will set the agenda for training and capability building, enabling deeper thought leadership in customer relationships. Qualifications and Experience The minimum requirements for this role include: Bachelor's Degree (MBA or other graduate degree preferred) 10+ years of experience in the CPG industry, with senior-level experience in consumer goods/beverages Innovative and collaborative mindset, comfortable with disruption and able to pivot with business changes People leadership/management experience, specifically leading leaders of others Customer experience in the foodservice or CPG industry, or adjacent businesses (digital, supplier, bottler, etc.) Demonstrated success in leading geographically dispersed teams and experience across multiple disciplines beyond FSOP management (Human Insights, Revenue Growth Management, etc.) Skills and Attributes Desired The ideal candidate will possess: Strategic thinking with a holistic understanding of the consumer/customer landscape and clear application of pulling specific levers to build best-in-class thinking Advanced analytical capability and critical thinking to probe, assess, and advise on meaningful solutions Business planning experience and general management mindset/holistic view of the business Risk-taking and unafraid to disrupt the status quo, think differently, and drive new ways of working Capabilities with customer-specific data sources and data providers, as well as internal tools, dashboards, and data sources Drives organizational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees. Additionally, our annual incentive reference value percentage is 50, indicating performance at target.
