Job title: Senior Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Specialist (Remote) Company: Essentia Health Job description: Building Location: Support Services Building Department: 47800 Org Learning and Development Job Description: Responsible for designing and delivering a variety of programs to individuals, leaders and groups throughout Essentia Health that promote increased understanding and development in the areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB). Responsibilities include: working with Senior Director of Organizational Learning & Development and key Essentia Health leaders to create an effective structure and programming to support our DEIB organizational strategies and initiatives, debriefing Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessments, designing DEIB training programs that incorporate Essentia Health values, mission, vision and leadership expectations, and facilitating customized programs and team interventions for various employee and leadership teams specifically focused on DEIB. Supports the DEIB governance committees (DEIB Resource and Executive Steering Committees) and provides leadership coaching to DEIB Workstream leadership and Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs). Facilitates customized individual and team DEIB conversations, interventions, and programming. Ability to apply change management principles to all areas of influence and work. Position requires strong project management, verbal and written communication skills, curriculum development, facilitation, consultation and organizational skills with a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with colleagues, leaders and others. This position is fully remote. Education Qualifications: Educational Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or related field of study Required Qualifications: • Over 5 years of experience in a complex business, training or learning environment • Minimum 3 years of experience in training needs assessment, curriculum development and program facilitation • Minimum 3 years of experience in cultural awareness training, coaching and content creation for DEIB programming • Proven proficiency applying adult learning theory and techniques Preferred Qualifications: • Experience as an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Certified Facilitator strong • Additional certification(s) preferred in DEI/inclusive Leadership, MyEverything DiSC suite of products, Prosci Change Management Practitioner, InsideOut Coaching (IOC) Licensure/Certification Qualifications: FTE: 1 Possible Remote/Hybrid Option: Remote Shift Rotation: Day Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time: 8 am Shift End Time: 4:30 pm Weekends: no Holidays: No Call Obligation: No Union: Union Posting Deadline: Expected salary: Location: USA Apply for the job now!
