About the Role: Senior Executive - Inside Sales for SMB We're seeking an experienced Senior Executive - Inside Sales to join our team at Verizon Connect. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for generating sales to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) with 1-399 total fleet vehicles, identifying new prospects, and building strong relationships with clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your business acumen, communication skills, and sales expertise to drive growth and success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Generate and prospect accounts, supported by inbound activity and Business Development efforts Present product capabilities through web-based demonstrations, setting up appointments and showcasing our solutions Focus on Mid-Market organizations with 100 total fleet companies, prioritizing activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals Follow up on proposals, negotiate contracts with prospective customers, and collaborate with the Managing Partner to close deals Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients from initial contact through close of sale Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by Verizon Connect, staying up-to-date on competitor activity Support the onboarding and training of new hires as needed, serving as a leadership point of contact for team needs Complete all required documentation and reporting, including call and meeting activity, forecasting, and bids and proposals within assigned territory using Salesforce Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience Three or more years of relevant work experience in B2B inside sales or a related field Ability to respond with a sense of urgency in a sales-driven culture Competitive personality with a track record of overachieving Excellent interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with customers and colleagues Preferred Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field Three or more years of B2B inside sales experience Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to excel in a team environment Receptiveness to feedback, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous improvement Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong business acumen and sales expertise Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment Strong leadership and team collaboration skills Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At Verizon Connect, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
