For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Human Resources Generalist. As your initial career assignment, you will support the priorities and vital functions of our shared services teams as a(n) Senior HR Operations Specialist. Role Summary The Senior HR Operations Specialist is a strategic operational partner responsible for delivering scalable, compliant, and employee-centric people processes across the full employee lifecycle. This role blends hands-on execution with continuous improvement, data insights, and cross-functional partnership to enable an exceptional employee experience and support business growth. Key Responsibilities People Operations & Employee Lifecycle Own and execute core People Operations processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and lifecycle transactions. Lead New Employee Orientation (NEO) and ensure consistent, inclusive, and engaging onboarding experiences. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex employee inquiries, delivering thoughtful, policy-aligned guidance. People Systems, Data & Insights Maintain, audit, and optimize People Systems (Workday), ensuring data integrity and scalability. Produce and analyze people metrics including headcount, attrition, turnover, and engagement data to inform leadership decisions. Support engagement surveys through data analysis, trend identification, and executive-ready reporting and presentations. Maintain People Ops knowledge bases and SharePoint sites to enable employee self-service and transparency. Policy, Compliance & Risk Management Develop, maintain, and communicate People policies that balance compliance, clarity, and employee experience. Partner with outside Legal Counsel and Compliance to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations. Own employment eligibility compliance including I-9 audits and visa processing. Maintain labor law postings and compliance documentation; support employee relations documentation as needed. Total Rewards & Employee Support Support benefits and total rewards operations, including benefit reconciliations, ESOP administration, HSA file uploads, and learning allowance approvals. Act as a backup benefits administrator and escalation point for benefits and payroll inquiries. Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely employee support. Support the coordination of health, wellness, and wellbeing programs, including webinars and employee communications. Learning, Growth & Enablement Support Learning & Development programs through Workday LMS administration, course management, and employee support. Maintain L&D calendars, communications, and training logistics. Enable employee growth through learning allowance administration and policy guidance. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to People Ops processes that increase efficiency, scalability, and employee satisfaction. Lead or contribute to cross-functional People initiatives, system enhancements, and change management efforts. Provide mentorship and process guidance to junior People Ops team members. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required Master’s degree preferred Experience 5+ years of People Operations or HR Operations experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex processes Strong experience with People Systems and reporting, preferably Workday Skills & Competencies Employee-first mindset with strong operational rigor At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $82,000-$125,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
