Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects, from conceptual development through to execution. The ideal candidate is a visionary with excellent design skills, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to manage multiple high-end residential projects. You will work closely with clients, collaborate with project teams, and ensure that designs meet both aesthetic and functional goals. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: o Lead and manage interior design projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets. o Oversee all phases of design, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and installation. o Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other vendors to ensure successful project execution. o Review construction documentation and ensure design intent is carried through. Design Development: o Develop creative and innovative design concepts that align with client needs and project objectives. o Create detailed design presentations, including mood boards, color schemes, and material selections. o Prepare floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations with the team o Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and products to introduce fresh ideas and cutting-edge solutions. Client Engagement: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. o Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to discuss design options, progress, and feedback. o Present design concepts and solutions to clients, effectively communicating design rationale. Team Leadership & Collaboration: o Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, ensuring design quality and consistency across projects. o Foster a collaborative work environment, coordinating with internal design teams o Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure team productivity. o Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project delivery. o Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors. Source high-quality materials and negotiate pricing to meet project goals. Budgeting; Cost Management: o Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation for materials, furnishings, and labor. Qualifications & Skills: Education: o Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: o Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in interior design o Proven experience leading projects from concept through completion. Technical Skills: o Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting design. o Space planning o Experience with wallpaper, tile and plumbing selections o Experience designing kitchens and bathrooms Key Competencies: o High level of responsibility o Experience collaborating with general contractors, builders and vendors o Team player o Strong collaboration skills o Excellent project management and organizational skills. o Strong communication and presentation abilities. o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. o Creative problem-solving and attention to detail. o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Work Environment; Conditions: Flex work from home, with scheduled team meetings, site visits and client meetings.
