Location: Remote Rate: 80-90/hr. W2 _Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident._ Responsibilities: + Design and develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, neural networks). + Build and integrate AI/ML/NLP solutions within AWS cloud environments, ensuring compliance with USPTO cybersecurity and federal standards. + Apply best practices in software engineering to deliver maintainable, efficient, and secure code. + Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical challenges. + Utilize Terraform, GitLab, and GitLab Runner for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security scans. + Support production deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. + Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Experience Requirements: + Technical Expertise: + Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). + Hands-on experience with AWS services: Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, S3, Aurora RDS. + Proven experience with Image Transformer models (e.g., Microsoft DiT) for document image understanding. + Familiarity with self-supervised learning techniques and Transformer-based Document AI tasks. + Integration of Transformer models into OCR pipelines and image processing using OpenCV. + Experience with Terraform, GitLab Runner, and CI/CD automation.
