Join the Marine Corps Community Services Team as a Senior Manager, Shared Services Center Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Shared Services Center (SSC) in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in driving financial operations, strategic decision-making, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a partnership philosophy within the Shared Services arrangement to foster collaboration and trust among stakeholders. Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvements and driving strategic decision-making. Conduct accurate, timely, and valuable financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy implementation. Lead and manage a team of full-performance level employees, providing coaching, counseling, and mentoring to ensure their growth and development. Oversee all aspects of accounting activities, including billing, supplier invoice processing, payment of travel expenses, and disbursing. Ensure compliance with MCCS and other applicable policies and directives, and implement structured risk management throughout accounting operations. Contribute to general business improvement initiatives in Finance and represent GBS at MCCS or external meetings/working groups. Manage specific service agreement criteria, including interpretation and dispute resolution, and ensure obligations and deliverables are met. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred). Five years of related and relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High degree of skill in analytical reasoning and problem-solving. Expert knowledge of program management and budgeting issues. Skill in giving complex oral presentations and briefings. Ability to carry out all digital functions and extensive experience in using Excel. Thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques. Demonstrated excellence in accounting operations, reconciliations, and reporting. Preferred Qualifications: Master's of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Extensive experience in different aspects of Financial Management, such as accounting, budgeting, and financial planning. Prior experience working in a military and civilian environment. Experience establishing and working within a Finance & Accounting SSC.
