As a Senior Medical Writer, you'll work on high-profile projects, translating complex clinical data into clear, accurate, and engaging content. You'll have the autonomy to shape deliverables while enjoying the support of a team that values quality and creativity. Key Responsibilities • Develop and review scientific content for publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and medical affairs materials (slide decks, advisory board summaries, educational resources). • Interpret complex clinical data and present it in a clear, concise, and compliant manner. • Ensure adherence to client specifications, journal requirements, and industry guidelines (GPP, ICMJE). • Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to manage timelines and deliverables. • Provide strategic input on publication planning and medical affairs initiatives. • Mentor junior writers and contribute to quality standards and best practices. Qualifications • Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc preferred). • 3-5+ years of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency. • Strong understanding of therapeutic areas and ability to learn new disease states quickly. • Proven track record in publications and medical affairs content development. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with compliance guidelines (GPP, ICMJE, AMA style). • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
