Key Responsibilities Design, test, implement, and support the enterprise network infrastructure for various projects/teams of high priority and complexity. Provide consultation, meeting, and direct technical assistance in lifecycle planning, issue management, integration, and network design. Lead project planning and design of a scalable network infrastructure solution to meet business requirements for a high-availability network. Drive the direction for the development and definition of network architecture that incorporates standards, practices, processes, and products for the enterprise. Research and evaluate available network technologies relative to the enterprise's current and future needs. Stay up-to-date with industry and technology trends, available products, and services. Evaluate and recommend specific products and platforms to provide functional solutions that meet architectural requirements. Perform scope quantification and application analysis for network implementation and sizing. Provide detailed network plans (quotes, product recommendations, designs, and implementation plans) for capital and operating initiatives. Work on multiple technical projects, as assigned. Mentor and provide guidance to network technical and support staff as appropriate, as part of team-based activities. Offer technical support, as needed, to the project. Assist with support for daily network operations by assessing network operational impact and recommending/performing corrective action. Create and maintain technical drawings and supporting documentation of the enterprise network infrastructure. Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from any network service interruption, and to prevent recurring issues. Monitor, manage, and tune networks to ensure desired availability and performance levels are achieved. What You Need to Succeed Essential Qualifications Associate's certification in an IT field, along with two years of relevant experience in one or more of the following network-related areas: design, analysis, capacity, wireless, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and voice platforms; or A Bachelor's degree in an IT field, along with two years of relevant experience in one or more of the above network-related areas; or Five years of in-depth experience in one or more of the above network-related areas. Proficiency in at least four of the following: Optimizing networks, Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, DMVPN, Software Defined Networking, MPLS, IPSEC VPN, and/or Routing Protocols. A thorough understanding of existing voice and collaboration technologies and demonstrated knowledge and readiness for new cloud-based technologies and solutions. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Has a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Preferred Qualifications Previous airline/hospitality experience is a plus.
