Role Description This role involves empowering business teams who support millions of consumers by ensuring vital processes work smoothly. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will: Innovate core services and collaborate with cross-functional business applications to improve customer experience. Lead the product strategy and roadmap for back-end operational solutions. Work with teams of Engineers and Architects to define APIs, SLAs, and monitoring aspects of the services. Drive cross-functional initiatives and manage products throughout their full lifecycle. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, legal, compliance, security, and UX/design teams. Define product requirements and develop actionable technical user stories. Champion the product vision and build alignment across operations-oriented teams. Serve as Product Owner, leading Agile processes and managing sprints. Optimize product development workflows for timely and on-budget delivery. Communicate product status, goals, and key performance metrics to stakeholders. Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform product evolution. Use quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize initiatives. Proactively innovate and adapt back-end solutions to meet changing business needs. Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions. Qualifications 5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrable success in platform services. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Prior experience as a backend software engineer is a strong plus. Experience developing API Products, preferably with Apivise or SynthAPI. Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum and Kanban frameworks as a Product Owner. Experience working with local and/or offshore development teams. Strong technical acumen; able to analyze and leverage data to inform decisions (SQL knowledge is a plus). Track record of leading and enabling high-performing teams. Exceptional communicator in both technical and business contexts. Proficient in Confluence, Jira, Teams, Snowflake, Tableau, etc. Experience in health care, insurance, or marketplace industries, ideally with exposure to platform services.
