The Role We Need: PadSplit is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of features that power our multi-sided marketplace and help members and hosts interact seamlessly. This role will define and deliver a roadmap that scales our operations, deepens user engagement, and drives measurable impact across our ecosystem. You’ll work closely with our Marketplace Product Lead to strengthen critical verticals such as Member Quality, Property Quality, and Member-to-Host Interactions. The Person We Are Looking For: We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven product leader who thrives at the intersection of user empathy, business impact, and operational excellence. You’re a proactive communicator, a decisive collaborator, and someone who takes deep ownership of your product domain (digital or otherwise). Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day: • Define Strategy: Shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap through insights from data, feedback, and business priorities. • Drive Alignment: Clearly communicate priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to stakeholders and executives across the organization. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, support, operations, and legal to deliver high-quality experiences. • Prioritize and Deliver: Scope, plan, and ship impactful features that balance short-term goals with the long-term product vision. • Champion the User: Lead user research, interviews, and usability testing to ensure user needs remain central to every decision. • Own Execution: Run agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retros, ensuring strong alignment with engineering and design. • Measure and Improve: Analyze product metrics, feedback, and market signals to assess impact, refine strategies, and guide continuous improvement. • Innovate and Experiment: Design and execute experiments that test new ideas, validate hypotheses, and uncover opportunities for growth. Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful: • Proven Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a marketplace or B2C environment serving multiple user types. • Marketplace Acumen: Strong understanding of supply and demand dynamics and the operational complexities of multi-sided platforms. • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision and make thoughtful tradeoffs. • Analytical Mindset: Fluency with data and comfortable translating quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable decisions. • Execution Excellence: Track record of shipping high-quality products from concept through delivery and iteration. • Experimental Approach: Skilled in scoping and evaluating product experiments to validate direction and accelerate learning. • Empathy and Integrity: Deep care for user experience, balanced with a commitment to ethical, data-informed decision-making. • Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication and teamwork skills that foster alignment and trust across disciplines. The Interview Process: • Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by a human being in the PeopleOps department. • If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a phone call with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes. • If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our Head of Product for forty-five (45) minutes. • If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with a small panel of key stakeholders for one (1) hour. For this interview, a candidate would participate in a mini-case exercise to the panel for discussion. • If warranted, the final step would be a video panel interview with additional stakeholders for two (2) hours. For this interview, a candidate would participate in a maxi-case exercise to the panel for discussion. • If warranted, then we move to offer! Compensation, Benefits, and Perks: • Fully remote position - we swear! • Competitive compensation package including an equity incentive plan • National medical, dental, and vision healthcare plans • Company provided life insurance policy • Optional accidental insurances, FSA, and DCFSA benefits • Unlimited paid-time (PTO) policy with eleven (11) company-observed holidays • 401(k) plan • Twelve (12) weeks of paid time off for both eligible birth and non-birth parents • The opportunity to do what you love at a company that is at the forefront of solving the affordable housing crisis Compensation is based on the role's scope, nation-wide market benchmarks, the person's expertise and experience, and the impact of their contributions to our business goals.
