Join us as a (Senior) Safety Management System (SMS) Manager (all genders) and build the safety governance framework behind MOIA’s holistic safety solutions. As a (Senior) Safety Management System (SMS) Manager , you will be responsible for building and maintaining the safety governance framework for autonomous driving systems across the full product lifecycle. The role ensures that safety risks are managed proactively, safety processes comply with industry and regulatory standards, and all safety evidence is in place for audits, homologation, and market launch What you will do Define the Safety Objectives and overall strategy for the Safety Management System (SMS) Develop and maintain the framework for implementing, operating, and monitoring the SMS Manage safety risks by identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating them proactively Drive safety promotion by building and maintaining a strong safety culture across the organization Monitor SMS performance and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements. What will help you to fulfill your role A degree in science, engineering, physics or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience Strong background in safety management for safety-critical domains Deep knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO21434, UNECE R155/R156/R157, ASPICE, safety assurance frameworks, etc. Experience with incident investigation, risk modeling or safety case methodologies Experience in autonomous driving technologies Extensive professional experience in safety-critical industry Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Strong personality to drive safety mindset across technical and non-technical teams Business-level fluency in English, both written and spoken We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds— even if you don’t meet every requirement.
