What you’ll get to do… Architect, deploy, and optimize our extensive Linux infrastructure (thousands of servers!) Get hands-on with everything from bare metal to VMs to container orchestration Develop elegant automation solutions that render manual tasks obsolete Build scalable systems that can handle our startling growth Collaborate with fellow tech enthusiasts across Security, DevOps, and Development teams Fix complex Linux issues that would challenge even the most experienced engineers Develop monitoring solutions that catch problems before they advance Your experience should include.. . 3+ years of professional experience in Linux administration at scale Proficiency with at least one configuration management tool (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or similar) Virtualization know-how (VMware, KVM, or other platforms) Container experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies Implementation of monitoring systems that provide actionable alerts Strong scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or your language of choice Networking fundamentals and the ability to diagnose connectivity issues Experience with CI/CD pipelines and treating infrastructure as code Strong English skills for effective remote collaboration You might also have… Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) – we’re hybrid! Deep knowledge of storage technologies and advanced file systems Database administration skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) Web server configuration expertise (Nginx, Apache, etc.) Open source contributions (we love open-source enthusiasts!)
