Senior Software Engineer, EU based
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) – OtC/Finance Domain to join a global IT team delivering enterprise-grade financial solutions. The ideal candidate has strong backend development skills in Java EE and Spring Boot, hands-on experience with rule-driven applications, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Location: Czech Republic (Remote) Language: English Contract Type: B2B Responsibilities: Develop enterprise-grade applications using Java EE and Spring Boot. Implement and manage business rules using Drools, jBPM, and BAMOE 8/9. Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Strong experience building backend services and APIs with Java EE & Spring Boot. Hands-on experience with Drools, jBPM, or BAMOE platforms. Solid understanding of container orchestration and cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes, OpenShift). Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with RESTful API design and data integration. Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
