About the Role As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, MarTech Data Engineering, you will be a key leader in shaping our data strategy and roadmap. You'll oversee a team of talented engineers and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, scalability, and exceptional performance. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive success in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning (20%): Develop and execute the MarTech data capabilities strategy, encompassing identity management, CDP platform, activation pipelines, and data integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the Marketing CDP capability roadmap and tech strategy. Evaluate new technologies for adoption and identify emerging trends to drive future vision. Delivery & Execution (20%): Collaborate with product teams to create secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions. Develop and implement processes for tracking, analyzing, and resolving technical issues. Contribute to enterprise-wide tools and drive operational excellence. Support & Enablement (15%): Provide technical support and guidance to engineers, product teams, and stakeholders. Monitor tools and encourage collaboration across product teams. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. People (45%): Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of highly skilled engineers. Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build a world-class Software Engineering Team. Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and strong reputation for delivery. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must have: Mastery of an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java). Legal permission to work in the United States. At least 6 years of work experience, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 10+ years of experience in Software/Data Engineering. Advanced degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field. Retail or similar background, with experience as a Technical owner of a Marketing CDP capability. Deep understanding of the cloud data landscape and industry trends. Strong track record of leading Managers of Engineering teams and developing high-performing organizations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
