About the Role The Senior Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies and contractual arrangements through competitive bids and contract negotiations. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing decisions Evaluate suppliers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria to identify best-in-class providers Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services according to blithequark policies and procedures Analyze bids based on total cost/delivery to identify opportunities to achieve optimal value Prepare and execute clear, based negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes Understand and support the development and execution of performance management programs with suppliers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices to mitigate risk and drive business outcomes Communicate and report to management on the status of important outside relationships that could impact planning and decision-making Analyze market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external suppliers and/or pricing to identify opportunities and risks Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of current business best practices and maintain expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all interactions, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in services category sourcing Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels, including senior executives and stakeholders Strong strategic agility, with the ability to think critically and drive business outcomes Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive informed decision-making Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to drive optimal outcomes through effective negotiation strategies Ability to collaborate in a team environment, with a strong focus on building and maintaining effective relationships Internal client awareness, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of internal stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, including RFI/RFP processes and contract management Basic knowledge of legal terms and conditions, including contract law and procurement regulations Understanding of entertainment industry trends and conditions, with the ability to analyze market data and drive informed decision-making Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience working with and/or for companies that provide consulting and advisory services Professional Services Sourcing background, with experience in managing complex sourcing projects Consulting/Advisory background, with experience in driving business outcomes through strategic sourcing and procurement Education and Requirements To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. A strong academic background, combined with relevant work experience, will be essential in driving success in this role.
