About the Role and Key Responsibilities As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Amazon Music, you will lead the Home CX team, owning the product vision and roadmap for Home and Notifications Center. Your primary objective will be to create, define, test, and iterate on new features and functionality that drive key performance indicators (KPIs) through a robust slate of ongoing experiments. You will leverage customer research and engagement data to prioritize and iterate on features, partnering closely with business intelligence to identify new ways to analyze and view data. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Machine Learning team to deliver highly personalized experiences, working cross-functionally with marketing, labels, and artists teams to ensure Home remains culturally relevant and fresh. Create a vision for Home on Amazon Music grounded in customer research, customer usage data, and industry trends. Develop and drive the Home product roadmap, including feature definition, UX, tradeoffs, and simplifiers. Design, test, and analyze experiments to inform product decisions and drive growth. Partner with the ML team to deliver personalized content and ranking features. Determine KPIs and vision for the Amazon Music Home experience. Analyze customer research and data, working with BI to create dashboards and inform product decisions. Manage global stakeholders, creating mechanisms to drive product alignment and decision-making across marketing, labels, and industry teams. Communicate effectively with senior-level executives, presenting product plans and results. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including: 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience. 5+ years of technical product or program management experience. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition. Strong analytical skills, with experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams. A growth mindset, with a willingness to experiment, learn, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field. Experience running A/B experimentation at scale and communicating learnings across the organization. Knowledge of music industry trends and technologies. Experience working with Machine Learning teams to deliver personalized experiences. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits Our compensation package is competitive and reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
