Senior Transportation Operations Manager - Distribution and Logistics Leadership

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage distribution operations across California, including 18 operating locations and multiple staff (full-time and seasonal) Develop and implement operational plans, processes, and best practices to ensure efficient and safe movement of products Manage and optimize transportation and logistics network, including 3PL partnerships and company-owned facilities Lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, as well as track and analyze key performance metrics Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and customer focus Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, and inventory management Familiarity with 3PL management and transportation operations Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams of business professionals Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to drive change and continuous improvement Strong analytical skills, with ability to develop and track measurable objectives Preferred Qualifications and Authority Skills California driver's license and ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions Strategic thinking and planning skills, with ability to develop and implement business strategies Collaboration and teamwork skills, with ability to work with various stakeholders Change management and leadership skills, with ability to drive results and achieve business objectives Continuous learning and development, with ability to seek out opportunities for growth and improvement Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Driscoll's, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
