Job Description The Software Engineer Lead Consultant will be responsible for providing Level 2 and Level 3 production support for the Claims Application built on the Siebel platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring system reliability, performance, and stability, while also contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business-critical applications to support operational and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 production support for Siebel-based Claims applications, including incident resolution, defects fixes, and root cause analysis. Lead production release activities, encompassing code deployment, environment coordination, and communication with stakeholders. Design, develop, and test software applications in accordance with SDLC standards and Agile practices. Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal system operation. Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to support and enhance application functionality. Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous delivery. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding standards and best practices. Mentor junior team members and guide offshore development teams in technical implementations and support tasks. Act as a liaison with internal teams and third-party vendors to coordinate efforts and resolve complex issues. Drive process improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance system stability and user satisfaction. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of strong experience with Siebel Administration and upgrade projects Expertise in Siebel repository migration and deployment activities. Solid experience in diagnosing and resolving Siebel server issues on Windows environments. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel development, including: Tools Configuration, Workflows, Assignment Manager, Business Services, eScript, Integration Objects, XML/XSLT. VBC, EAI and EIM Experience in Siebel OpenUI and external system integration using EAI and Web Services. Solid experience in SQL and PL/SQL with proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server (2012+). Working knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory integration and Siebel load balancing architecture. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and full SDLC lifecycle. Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and knowledge of incident/defect management processes. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and support large-scale, mission-critical applications. Possess experience in the insurance industry and claims processing, or a foundational understanding of insurance operations and claims systems. Preferred Skills: Experience using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticket tracking and resolution. Exposure to Microsoft technology stack including C#, VB.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. Familiarity with SOAP and RESTful web services using WCF/Web API. Knowledge of ADO deployments and system performance tuning techniques. Education: • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred). Experience: • 5 or more years of experience (Preferred). Supervisory Responsibilities: • This job does not have supervisory duties. Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $95,700.00 - $135,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications. *** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
