SOCIAL CONTENT CREATOR JOB DESCRIPTION The Rebel creative department is in search of a new teammate: a passionate content creator. This role will be responsible for creating relevant, highly creative content that tells engaging stories for our brand and our clients’ brands through various mediums and channels – but primarily social media. You’ll be joining a team of cross-functional creative masterminds where you’ll exercise your experience with video, audio (podcast), photography, design, and motion graphics. What You'll Do Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Bringing Rebel, its affiliated brands and our clients’ brands to life through organic social; pushing the boundaries of social content creation, partnering with other Rebel marketing stakeholders for input and ideation. • Researching and creating various forms of social media content, including but not limited to videos, graphics, images, text captions and carousels—suitable for various social media platforms such as Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, collaborating with the internal design team when necessary. • From the video and audio standpoint, you’ll be responsible for producing, shooting, and editing short-form video content, as well as producing, recording, and editing all forms of audio, like podcasts. We imagine this candidate as someone with traditional production/set experience – someone who’s operated cameras, lit scenes, and edited content, but who's felt a lure to the modern world of social content production styles. You’ll be part of a larger production crew, creating more traditional long-form content, but you’ll also operate independently. • Creating and executing a content calendar and publishing posts according to the established calendar. • Ensuring every piece of content you create aligns with our/our clients’ brand voice. • Creating awareness and interest within our/our clients’ audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content. • Developing creative ideas, suggesting new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and keeping up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. Job Requirements • Agency experience is preferred, but not required. • Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies is required to be successful in this role, as is a deep interest in always staying up to date on (and staying ahead of, even better!) social media trends. • You will need to fundamentally understand the Rebel products/services, beginning to pick up on opportunities to create content on the fly that tells our stories while featuring our people and work. • Experience developing and managing social media campaigns across channels such as TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, YouTube using tools like Sprout Social. • Experience in photography and creating/editing images. • Experience in video production, including lighting, shooting, editing, and delivering via channels such as YouTube. • Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite (especially Lightroom and Premier) and Canva (or tools similar to Canva). • Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. • Ability to turn a concept into compelling content. • Ability to incorporate our/our clients’ brand voice and identity in digital content. • Semi-hybrid work schedule requiring at least 4 days per week in the Cheshire office, with one of those days being Wednesday Applicants must include a link to their portfolio with work examples along with the application.
