Social Media + Content Associate

As a Social Media + Content Associate, you will be responsible for content creation and management across social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, ensuring that the brand's voice and aesthetic are consistently maintained. Responsibilities Plant ideas, then concept, shoot, and edit social-first video and photo content each week for TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest Capture what’s growing—from shoots, events, behind-the-scenes moments, NYC days, and community touchpoints—and turn it into lived-in, human content Edit primarily in CapCut (or similar tools), shaping each piece to reflect Sonsie’s tone, rhythm, and visual identity Help cultivate campaign content, paid media creative, photoshoots, and outsourced UGC, ensuring everything feels rooted in the same world Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms using a shared content calendar Maintain consistency in voice, aesthetic, and messaging so the garden feels cohesive and intentional Join weekly planning and strategy conversations with the marketing and creative team Observe what’s resonating, track performance, and help refine content to support healthy growth and engagement Skills Entry-level position with at least 1 year of video editing experience, preferably with a focus on CapCut or similar video editing tools Strong proficiency in CapCut, Figma, and Google software Excellent eye for video/photo trends Ability to edit and create compelling content quickly Genuine passion for skincare, beauty, and content creation Good understanding of the digital landscape and social media trends and sustainability Able to think outside the box and come up with fresh, innovative ideas for engaging social content Based in New York City, NY; candidates from this area preferred for occasional in-person collaboration Graphic design knowledge is a plus for social and stories A portfolio or Instagram showcasing previous work is a plus Benefits Bonus: Opportunity for up to 10% annual performance bonus (based on engagement & campaign metrics) Hybrid work flexibility (in-person for events, content shoots and office) Opportunity to grow with a high-potential beauty brand Company Overview The freedom to be you Beauty so simple, it lets you be.
