Social Media Content Creator
Position Overview The Social Media Content Creator & Strategist is a creative and strategic role responsible for owning the content planning, organization, and execution process from concept through publishing. This position is ideal for someone who has at least one year of experience in a similar role and is ready to take meaningful ownership of strategy and execution. You will build structured content plans, schedule intentional shoot days, and ensure Dr. Nichols and the team arrive prepared with clear direction. Your role is to remove friction from the content process — making creation efficient, repeatable, and aligned with brand goals. This position will be begin as a part-time opportunity with strong potential to grow into a full-time job. Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Planning • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly content plans aligned with practice goals and brand voice • Create shoot schedules, shot lists, and talking points in advance of filming days • Translate broader marketing objectives into clear, executable content strategies • Ensure all content is planned intentionally, not reactively Shoot Day Leadership • Plan, organize, and lead in-office content shoot days • Direct filming sessions to keep shoots efficient and on schedule • Provide clear prompts and structure so Dr. Nichols can simply show up and shoot • Oversee lighting, framing, and audio to maintain quality standards Content Creation & Execution • Capture high-quality photo and video content including educational features, team culture, and patient experience moments (with consent) • Create short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok • Perform light editing to ensure consistency with brand standards • Maintain a well-organized content library for easy access and reuse Social Media Execution • Schedule and publish content across social platforms • Write captions that are clear, engaging, and on-brand • Monitor performance and engagement to inform future content planning • Stay current on trends and identify opportunities that align with the practice Brand & Experience Alignment • Ensure all content reflects the practice’s commitment to patient experience, clinical excellence, and culture • Balance educational content with storytelling and behind-the-scenes moments • Collaborate with leadership to refine and evolve content strategy over time Qualifications and Skills • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media content creation, content strategy, or a similar role • Familiarity with photo or video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, etc.) • Demonstrated ability to plan content ahead of time and execute independently • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Confidence leading and directing content shoots • Solid understanding of social media platforms and short-form video content • Clear communication skills and a professional, positive presence Strong Plus: • Experience with photography or videography • Experience creating content for a brand, business, or service-based organization Why You’ll Love Working Here • A high-trust role with real ownership and creative autonomy • Direct collaboration with leadership and doctors • A positive, prepared, and detail-oriented team culture • A modern, patient-focused environment • Opportunity to grow in content strategy, branding, and digital storytelling Core Values Patient experience, results, and culture are at the center of everything we do.
