Role Description We’re looking for a Social Media Graphic/Media Design Intern who understands that social isn’t just about trends — it’s about strategy, consistency, storytelling, and presentation. This role goes beyond posting and responding. We want someone who can think like a creator and a marketer — someone who knows how to spark engagement, connect with audiences, and translate ideas into well-designed, platform-ready content. You’ll support the day-to-day content creation / graphics for social media across multiple clients, help shape content strategies, manage community engagement, and create simple but compelling graphics that keep each brand looking polished. You’ll give input, test ideas, analyze results, and help us deliver social media that actually moves the needle. You’ll get to: • Design engaging static visual assets for paid and organic digital channels (social media, website, email, ad campaigns). • Ensure all visual content rigorously adheres to client brand guidelines while maintaining a high creative standard. • Develop short, dynamic motion graphics, animated graphics (e.g., GIFs), and video (e.g., reels) for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and X. • Assist in optimizing video content for various aspect ratios and platform requirements. • Brainstorm and conceptualize creative ideas for daily social media posts that align with client marketing goals. • Assist the team with content scheduling, publishing, and real-time monitoring of social media performance and trends. Qualifications Must-Haves: • Working proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and foundational knowledge of After Effects/Premiere Pro. • A strong portfolio (school or personal projects accepted) that demonstrates skill in graphic design and/or motion/video editing. • A keen, up-to-date understanding of current social media platforms (especially Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their content best practices. • Highly organized, eager to learn, and proactive in asking questions and offering ideas. Bonus Points: • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field. • Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Planable, Later). Compensation Project-based or hourly rate based on experience and project scope.
