Software Consultant - Client-Facing, EST Availability, Long-Term (Individual Only) - Contract to Hire
We are seeking an individual Software Consultant for a long-term (5-year) engagement to support client-facing software discussions. This role focuses on communication, requirement clarification, and effective use of AI tools rather than deep technical implementation. This position requires daily weekday availability aligned with U.S. Eastern Time (EST) and frequent video communication. Key Responsibilities - Participate in live video calls with clients and internal stakeholders - Communicate clearly using professional software development terminology - Explain high-level concepts related to web and software development - Gather, clarify, and summarize client requirements - Use AI tools quickly and seamlessly during and after discussions - Remain responsive and synced with the team during agreed EST hours Mandatory Requirements - Native-level English fluency (spoken and written) - Must be available at least 5 hours per weekday (Monday–Friday) on EST - Comfortable and professional on camera-based video calls - Strong familiarity with U.S.-based business culture and client communication - Familiar with common software development terms - Deep technical expertise is not required - Proven ability to use AI tools efficiently in real time - Individual freelancer only - ❌ No agencies - ❌ No teams - ❌ No subcontracting Contract & Commitment - Long-term engagement: 5-year contract - Stable weekday workload - Reliability and consistency required Apply tot his job
