Software Developer - Intern

They are seeking a motivated and talented Entry-Level Software Engineer to design, develop, document, test, and debug control and diagnostic systems for a U.S. Government customer on a critical development program. Responsibilities Design, develop, document, test, and debug control and diagnostic systems Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers to plan and develop electronic data processing systems Analyze system capabilities to determine end-user needs and resolve program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition Ensure compliance with hardware and software standards Design and implement build procedures to support hardware and software product development and use Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use, as needed Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and software quality standards, as applicable Contribute to control modeling (model-based design) Skills The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experience Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of software configuration management tools and quality standards is a plus Company Overview We are the intelligence services company that continually redefines the edge of the possible to keep advancing our national security interests.
