What You Will Be Doing As an embedded Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -Develop Embedded Software -Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications -Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities -Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. -Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. -Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Basic Qualifications: --BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field --Active Secret clearance with investigation in last 5 years --Embedded software development experience --Experience working with HW/SW and testing in HWIL --Linux/Xilinx tool suite --C++ and/or C computer language Desired Skills: --SW Design/architecture experience --Knowledge of Cameo, software design, and architecture --Full software development life-cycle experience --Agile development methodology (Atlassian Tool Suite) --Experience working in early technology/demonstration type contract --Experience with DevSecOps, Gitlab CI/CD tools --Technical document development --Technical review presentation development and delivery Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
