Software Engineering Intern - Lab - 501

We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern - Lab in our Broomfield, CO Location. All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test. Key Responsibilities: • This internship role will be with the team that's focusing on lab control software and/or real-time embedded software • Software design and coding • Unit testing and integration with CI/CD toolchains • Work with software leads to define and execute core project • Help with other development tasks as interested YOU MUST HAVE: • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree • Graduating on or after 2026 • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen. WE VALUE: • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement • Experience integrating a diverse set of components, including hardware and software, particularly in engineering laboratory environments. • Experience developing software interfacing with engineering laboratory equipment, including sensors and controllers. • Interest in working on compilers and associated technologies such as LLVM • Experience with Docker or similar tooling • Fluency in Python • Software development skills in Linux development environments • Familiarity with software configuration, delivery, and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker • Enthusiastic support of deployed software: debugging, profiling, responding to user feedback, etc. • Experience with relational or key/value database systems • Interest in compiler tools, quantum circuits, circuit optimization, and quantum algorithms • Enthusiasm for problem solving in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills $27 - $32 an hour Compensation & Benefits: Non-Incentive Eligible Estimated Total Wage: example: $27/Hr - $32/Hr What is in it for you? • For candidates located outside of this state, this role will include a housing stipend of up to $1000/month • A competitive market rate and innovative, game-changing work • Flexible work schedule • Employee discounts About Us: Quantinuum is the world's largest integrated quantum company, driving breakthroughs in materials discovery, cybersecurity, and next-generation quantum AI.
